Uniforms

The attached article contains information on German and askari uniforms from East Africa. It was compiled by Matthias Schneider as part of an nvestigation into the possibility of a battle re-enactment at the request of Howard. The conclusion of the investigation/discussion is that a re-enactment at this time is inappropriate.

All the best
Anne

New for June 2012

Some highlights of what’s new on the site this month:

The booklist has been updated. Please do let me know of any publications you know of which are not on the list so they can be added. I’m in the process of trawling through lists of articles to include these.

An ‘In Memory’ section has also been added. This is very new and is constantly being updated with the names and other details of men of all theatres who were involved in the campaign. Please do send across those you’ve come across and also any corrections which need to be made (please include the source of your info so that it can be included).
